The title translates to ‘fresh meat in Milan,’ which could hint at other meaty connotations. However, the next few days will define 2016 as the world’s biggest motorcycle show commences and every manufacturer will be debuting next season’s models – plus a few old ones…

In preparation for EICMA, the world’s press will currently be sipping on lavish champagne, dining on exquisite horsderves, and being pleasured by members of the opposite sex in one of the world’s sexiest cities.

So what can we expect? Well, today’s activities kick-off with Ducati unveiling seven new bikes at 16:30 CET (link here), followed by Honda’s and Yamaha’s efforts tonight (link here, probably Jorge Lorenzo riding something on stage).

Tomorrow (Tues) sees the show open to press and trade, with every other manufacturer scheduling press conferences and grand unveilings – and we’ve already seen some of next season’s magnificence. As well as all-new ZX-10Rs and Speed Triples, there’ll be a feast of unseen 2016 weaponry making an entrance in Milan.

Suzuki earlier announced that the covers will be coming off its 2016 range at 10am tomorrow, although judging by this picture we’ve just been sent by our buddies at JHS Racing, we won’t be seeing an all-new GSX-R1000: the pic is a recently delivered (today) GSX-R1000, which clearly depicts an L6 model and inside, it’s identical to an L5…

Panic not and get ready for the onslaught of fresh meat in the coming hours. 2016 is already brimming with awesomeness.
