44Tour, Day 2, Limoges to Carcassonne. By now, our gussets had (nearly) dried, the glorious French roads were dry and the GS was no longer the preferred choice of mechanical propulsion, despite its pilot – Gary – decking the panniers at any given opportunity. The R1 and ZX-10R were well and truly shredding sidewall rubber, relishing the desolate highways and offering diverse aspects of awesomeness.
