If you’re impressed with Sam Sunderland s form at this year’s Dakar Rally (you should be, he’s leading the standings as we speak), you might also be impressed with his acting skills. Unfortunately, his time-keeping leaves a lot to be desired.
But you can get away with setting off a few minutes late when you’re a Dakar Rally winner (2017). Certainly if it’s for a meeting in the desert. Or at the top of the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. And especially when you live in Dubai.
In this video, the Poole-born but Dubai-based 32-year-old tears up the Dubai Desert, the Emirates Golf Course, and even takes a shortcut through the Dubai Mall to get to his photoshoot on time. And the result of that, is some absolutely outstanding video footage. See for yourself…
